Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Lattify account and the personal data associated with it. Lattify is a workplace training platform that helps businesses create and deliver step-by-step training guides to their teams.

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Lattify account and associated data, send an email to privacy@lattify.co from the email address registered to your account, with:

  • Subject line: Account deletion request
  • Body: your full name and the email address associated with your Lattify account

We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days, as required under UK GDPR.

If you are a Learner (team member)

Because your employer is the data controller for your training data, we ask that you first contact your employer to request removal from their workspace. If your employer directs you to us, or if you prefer to contact us directly, email privacy@lattify.co and we will work with your employer to fulfil your request.

What is deleted

When we process a deletion request, the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Your account record (name, email address, password, profile information)
  • Any videos, photos, or audio you have uploaded to the platform
  • Training guides you have created or edited
  • Photo verification uploads (proof-of-work images)
  • Session telemetry and feedback associated with your account
  • Device identifiers and push notification tokens

What is retained

A limited set of data is retained after account deletion where the law requires us to keep it, or where it has been fully anonymised:

  • Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law (applies to Creators with paid subscriptions only).
  • Anonymised aggregated analytics: we may retain analytics from which you can no longer be identified for product improvement purposes.

Timeline

  • Within 5 working days: we confirm receipt of your request.
  • Within 30 days: deletion is completed across our production systems.
  • Within 90 days: deletion propagates to encrypted backups as they expire.
